Work standard –

Contribute towards creating a positive working environment within the tendering

department.

Contacting consultants, architects & clients for tenders.

Manage the process of company proposal preparation and clarifications with clients.

Initiate procedure of pre-qualification with Customers on the basis of direct enquiries

received from them or through press advertisements.

Liaise with the clients with regards to pre-qualifications, professional enquiries and request

for quotations.

Responsible for collection of Tender Documents, site information's, local rates and rates of

materials after confirmation of pre-qualification of tender.

Study of Tender Documents in association with team to ascertain total scope of work

including specifications, terms and conditions, quality control requirements, use of imported materials in the project, if any.

Preparation of costing spreadsheets and completion of tender pricing formats.

Preparation of technical submission documentation such as sample procedure, schedules and

deck layouts in cooperation with the projects/operations department.

Comparative analysis of bid submitted by the company & maintains the record for future

reference.

Deals with post-tender discussion/negotiation/clarification with Customer till final decision

on the tender.

After awarding of project, checking work order with details of tender expressed at tender

stage before acceptance.

Preparation of Tender Board Review documents including P&L and Risk Review

documents as required.

Sending enquires (with technical specifications drawings datasheets etc) to sub vendors of

transformer, panels light fixtures and any special items mentioned in tender.

Collect rates from in-house purchase deptt. for incorporation in tender estimate.

Participate in client negotiations when required.

Maintain accurate records of tender and proposal information.

Attend client pre-bid meetings when necessary.

Represent the Company in tender negotiation meetings with Customer and take decision in

consultation with appropriate authority as and when necessary.

Receive, sign PQ and Tender documents within limits of Power of Attorney issued by the

Company.

Manage a team of Bid & Estimators.
