Role & responsibilities

  • Testing and Validation: Perform simulations and physical tests to validate design performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and debug hardware-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Work with software engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation for designs, test results, and hardware specifications.
  • Optimization: Improve existing designs for efficiency, performance, cost reduction, and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze and solve hardware problems in production or in the field.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in laser, inkjet and multifunction printers
  • Perform hardware trobleshoot including print heads, rollers, fusers, power supplies, motors, sensors, and logic boards
  • Identify and resolve paper jams, print quality issues, connectivity problems, and error codes
  • Install, configure, and update printer drivers, firmware, and software
  • Support network printers (TCP/IP, USB, Wi-Fi, Ethernet)
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing
  • Replace faulty components and calibrate printers after repair
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers or internal teams
  • Maintain service records, repair logs, and parts usage documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors and escalate complex issues when required
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connections
  • Monitor network performance and report issues to senior engineers
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues related to connectivity, routing, and switching
  • Support configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
  • Assist with network security tasks such as access control and patching
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory
  • Support users with basic network-related issues
  • Help with backup, recovery, and system updates
  • Escalate complex issues to senior network engineers when required
