Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Sales Executive to join our gold jewelry showroom. The role involves assisting customers, understanding their requirements, showcasing jewelry designs, and ensuring a smooth buying experience while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers at the jewelry counter with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Understand customer preferences and guide them in selecting gold jewelry items.
  • Provide detailed information about product specifications, quality, weight, and pricing.
  • Ensure proper handling, display, and security of gold jewelry items.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Manage billing, cash handling, and documentation of sales transactions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Stay updated with the latest gold jewelry designs, trends, and market updates.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and exchanges politely and efficiently.
  • Maintain the counter area with cleanliness, proper display, and adequate stock availability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: Graduate in any stream.
  • 10 years of experience in jewelry sales or retail sales (preferred in gold/jewelry industry).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (Hindi/English/regional language).
  • Strong customer service and persuasion skills.
  • Basic knowledge of gold jewelry, purity (karat), weights, and pricing.
  • Presentable personality with professional grooming.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and meet sales targets.
  • Flexible to work on weekends and festive seasons.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹50,000.00 per month
