  • Own the hub operations: receiving, sorting, loading and dispatch of parcels to riders.
  • Hire, onboard and manage delivery riders to ensure enough workforce each day.
  • Monitor key metrics like on-time dispatch, delivery accuracy and rider productivity.
  • Coordinate with transport/fleet teams to ensure vehicles and routes ready for dispatch.
  • Supervise hub staff (sorters, loaders) and riders, ensure safety & standard operating procedures are followed.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalations quickly (late deliveries, returns, mis-loads).
  • Manage manpower planning and shift schedules to meet daily volume demands.
  • Maintain reports and dashboards on operations performance and rider utilisation.
  • Work to reduce cost per delivery, improve routing efficiency and minimise errors.
  • Report to the Area/Operations Manager and collaborate with HR for rider contracts, training and retention.
