Role & responsibilities Forging Exposure, Follow up of APQP Process with supplier

Maintaining existing supplier panel and developing new supplier drawings quality requirements and the critical parameter Getting comparative quotes from various approved / prospective sources, negotiation, Maintaining the supplier database. Coordinating with Quality for the technical clarifications sought by the supplier, Constant review of Capacity planning at supplier end to improve business. Closely monitoring the market fluctuation for the Steel price and finalizing the price increase / decrease with suppliers & sometimes with Steel mill. Establish a Sourcing Budget for the commodity and deploy the same. Follow the Forging Commodity WCM Action plan.
