Key Responsibilities of a Dispatch Executive:

  • Scheduling and Coordination
  • Plan and schedule deliveries or transportation activities.
  • Assign drivers/vehicles based on availability, route, and priority.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams.
  • Order Processing
  • Review and process dispatch orders from sales or operations teams.
  • Ensure all orders are accurately entered into the system.
  • Route Optimization
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to save time and reduce costs.
  • Use GPS or dispatch software to monitor and adjust routes in real time.
  • Communication
  • Maintain constant communication with drivers and field staff.
  • Address and resolve any issues during transit (delays, breakdowns, etc.).
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain dispatch logs, delivery reports, and transportation records.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.
  • Tracking and Monitoring
  • Track movement of vehicles/goods using GPS or tracking tools.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Customer Service
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding delivery status.
  • Handle delivery complaints or feedback professionally.
  • Compliance and Safety
  • Ensure all dispatch activities adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Monitor driver behavior and compliance with transport rules.
  • Team Coordination
  • Work closely with other departments such as sales, inventory, warehouse, and customer support.
  • Support driver onboarding and training if needed.
  • Emergency Response
  • Act quickly to manage emergencies like vehicle breakdowns, route closures, or weather disruptions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹28,569.62 per month
