Position Title: MIS Executive Sales

Department: Sales

Location: Chennai

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Head Sales & Marketing

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Sales Data Management

  2. Collect, validate, and maintain sales data from field teams and distributors.

  3. Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets.

  4. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of sales entries in Microsoft Dynamics CRM/ERP and other MIS systems.

  5. Reporting & Analysis

  6. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on sales performance.

  7. Generate region-wise, product-wise, and channel-wise sales analysis.

  8. Provide insights on sales trends, growth opportunities, and variances using Microsoft Dynamics dashboards and reports.

  9. Target & Incentive Tracking

  10. Track achievement of sales targets across zones/branches.

  11. Maintain records of sales incentive eligibility and payouts.

  12. Support Sales Managers with performance dashboards for review.

  13. Coordination & Support

  14. Liaise with the sales team, distributors, and finance for data updates.

  15. Support management in preparing presentations and performance reviews.

  16. Act as a point of contact for sales-related MIS queries.

  17. Process Improvement

  18. Automate recurring reports and dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics and Excel.

  19. Recommend improvements in reporting formats and data collection processes.
  20. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM/ERP), MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Advanced Formulas), and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of other ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in MIS/Reporting, preferably in Sales/Distribution domain.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics for sales reporting and analytics is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods industry will be an added advantage.
