Analyst – Accounts Payable - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

As an Analyst in Accounts Payables, you will assist with the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and basic account reconciliations for the Middle East member firm. Your responsibilities include supporting monthly close activities, handling routine stakeholder queries, and following established company policies and procedures. You will help maintain accurate records, support quality standards, and may participate in process improvement activities or assist with ad-hoc requests and reporting as needed.

The key job responsibilities include the following:

Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable Management:

• Process vendor invoices and payments in compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.

• Manage payment cycles, ensuring timely settlements to vendors.

2. Reconciliation and Reporting:

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounts payable aging reports.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes for accounts payable.

3. Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS).

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

• Maintain proper documentation for all accounts payable transactions.

4. Vendor Relationship Management:

• Act as the point of contact for vendors regarding payment inquiries.

• Resolve payment issues and disputes in a professional and timely manner.

5. System Optimization:

• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to streamline accounts payable processes.

• Provide input on system enhancements to improve efficiency.

Work Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

The team

The F&BO team at Hyderabad supports the Deloitte organization in North South Europe with a wide variety of capabilities like financial reporting, HR and financial transaction processing, administrative service and helpdesk support, marketing, and IT services.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Recent graduate or up to 2 year of experience in accounting or finance.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., D365) is a plus.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Motivated to learn and grow in a fast-paced professional environment.

• Strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
