Role Summary:
A BDM in IT staffing is responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients in the IT services and staffing domain. The focus is on placing IT professionals (Long term contract, contract-to-hire, or permanent) with client companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and engage prospective clients looking for IT staffing solutions.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR departments, and procurement teams.
- Understanding Client Needs: Gather detailed job requirements and understand clients' technical and cultural needs.
- Coordination with Recruitment Teams: Work closely with the recruiting team to ensure timely and quality submissions of candidate profiles.
- Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close staffing contracts.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Targets: Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and KPIs.
- Network: Must have strong established and nurturing professional relationships with IT managers, HR professionals, procurement teams, and directors who make staffing decisions, and more
- Domain: Semiconductor, Financial services, IT Services are desirable
Key Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of IT technologies and job roles
- Proven experience in IT staffing (RPO, Long term Contract, Contract to hire, Permanent)
- Relationship-building and account management
