External Job Description

- Contract Management 

a. Conducting property checks and due diligence to assess if property is complaint under applicable laws.

b. Drafting, reviewing, negotiation and closure of various agreements, including property agreements like lease deeds, leave and license agreements etc., warranty documents and ensuring that the associated risks for the Company are minimized.

c. Participate in negotiation of key business contracts and provide inputs from a legal perspective and coordinating with various internal stakeholders (Business, Finance, Taxation Teams) to ensure timely closure of agreements

d. End to end legal management of assigned business transactions. 

- Contract Repository 

a. Preparation of Agreement MIS on regular intervals.

b. Tracking of execution, registration, compliance, renewals and other major triggers under the contractual relationship.

c. Ensure Proper execution and storage of original agreements.

d. Working on Contract Management tool.

- Research 

a. Researching on various country's laws applicable to the business in that region.

b. Due Diligence, calculation of stamp duty and registration of property agreements like lease deeds, leave and license agreements etc.

c. Research on finding appropriate judgments for better interpretation of the contractual understanding. 

- General Advisory and Support 

a. Provide sound legal advice to different business verticals on various legal matters on the business aspects.

b. Act as a Legal SPOC with all external consultants, lawyers and internal stakeholders.

c. Advising international business units on various business matters especially in the areas of agreement review, IPR and recovery of outstanding debts.

d. Co – ordinating with foreign law firms on legal compliance requirements of business in that country.
