Position Overview:

The Corporate Relations Officer (CRO) will play a vital role in establishing, developing, and maintaining strong relationships between the institution and the corporate sector. The primary responsibility is to create career opportunities for students through strategic partnerships, internships, campus placements, and corporate collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Corporate Networking & Relationship Management

  2. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate organizations, HR heads, and industry leaders.

  3. Identify new companies for collaboration, internships, training, and campus recruitment drives.
  4. Serve as the primary liaison between the institution and corporate partners.

  5. Placement Coordination

  6. Coordinate with departments and training & placement cells to organize campus placement drives.

  7. Ensure smooth execution of placement activities, pre-placement talks, and company visits.
  8. Prepare and maintain placement records, reports, and company feedback.

  9. Industry-Academia Collaboration

  10. Initiate MoUs and partnerships with industries for internships, live projects, research, and guest lectures.

  11. Coordinate with companies for industrial visits, workshops, and seminars.
  12. Support faculty in integrating industry-relevant curriculum and skill-based training.

  13. Branding & Outreach

  14. Represent MPGI in corporate forums, job fairs, and professional networking events.

  15. Promote the institutions brand through corporate engagement and placement success stories.
  16. Assist in preparing promotional materials, presentations, and reports for corporate outreach.

  17. Student Development Support

  18. Guide students in understanding industry expectations, resume building, and interview preparation.

  19. Collaborate with the training department to design employability enhancement programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Masters/Bachelors degree in Management, HR, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in corporate relations, placements, or business development (preferably in an educational institution or corporate training organization).
  • Strong corporate network and proven experience in building industry connections.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple corporate engagements simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach.
