We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Decision System 

Business: Inlt Wealth & Premier Banking

Principal responsibilities 

Support and oversee the implementation of fraud & credit strategies in decision systems for multiple markets. Provide SME consultation in design to the business stakeholders for initiatives and changes to the decision strategies.Support the definition and design of Decision Systems Technology Strategy and implementation i.e. build Cloud based Cognitive decision infrastructure for implementation of Advance Analytics with performance at scaleSupport the roll out of Future State Decision System across HSBC marketsJoin up with IWPB teams to deliver a consistent Cloud based Decisioning Infrastructure across Underwriting, Originations Fraud and Account Management.Support the roll out of Future State decision system across any HSBC markets.Implement best practices and standardize the change management process across various regionsCreate global standard service levels & deliver MI to support operational monitoring of Future Decision Systems serviceAdherence to defined SLAs and deliver MI to support operational monitoring of Decision Systems service.Adhere to the defined governance processes throught the change lifecycle of decision systems deliveriesAs the role holder develops greater expertise and maturity, additional responsibilities will be added:Ability to handle and navigate implementation of multiple projects in parallelShould be able to lead a team of Analyst and manage their deliveries and provide mentorshipShould be able to handle multiple markers stakeholders and deliveries in parallelDrive GSC Initiatives and generate engagements in the FCS TeamMentor junior analysts in their implementation deliveries.Help liaise and prioritize activities and credit changes.Work with leadership to inculcate group direction in business

Contribute to the creation of a supportive work environment driven by people centric values.Build professional relationships with colleagues in other areas. Oversee the development of cost-effective code for assigned projects.  Manages the automation of repetitive programming steps to reduce the need for manual intervention. Take charge in the maintenance of generated programs, queries and profiles to make certain organizational information resources are leveraged efficiently.Generate Efficiency ideas to help improve process and work towards faster implementation

Qualifications:

Must have lead projects in Fraud & Credit Lending Landscape.Exposure to Banking Analytics or equivalent experience in Business, Finance or related field. Knowledge of decision systems.Knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.Experience on Vendor Decisioning or Analytics product(s) is preferred. E.g. Experian PowerCurve, SMg3, SAS Intelligent Decisioning, SAS Viya, Provenir etc.Experience on Cloud, Digital Technology and Cognitive/AI platforms will be an added advantage.Experience on DevOps MethodologiesExposure to big data and cloud computing is desirable.Strong background working with large-scale data, data management, data quality, visualization and dashboard design and regulatory and compliance matters.Strong communication, stakeholder management, presentation and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to change and changing work priorities and ability to drive resultsExperience in working in collaborative environment across FLoD and SLoD is strongly desirable.Strong programming knowledge of SAS, SQL R/Python, GCP.For candidates focussing on data delivery aspects of the role should possess relevant experience on standard industry tools like DataFlow, Airflow, DAG, Pyspark, DBT, BigQuery, BigData

Post Graduate degree/ BTech/ BE or equivalentMinimum 9+ years of successful track record of leading technology (functional) projects with aggressive timelines across the organizationMust be a self-starter and will be required to work under minimal supervision, but with firm deadlines.Mentorship experience will be an added advantageMust have experience in leading and delivering projects from planning to implementation phase.
