Job Title: Diamond Assorter

Department: Diamond Department

Location: Mumbai (Vile Parle)

Experience: 3–5Years

Reporting To: Diamond Head / Production Manager

Job Purpose:

To accurately assort and grade diamonds based on size, shape, color, clarity, and cut, ensuring the right quality standards are maintained for manufacturing and order requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and assort diamonds according to size, color, clarity, and shape.
  • Segregate diamonds as per design and order requirements.
  • Use standard tools like sieves, loupes, and tweezers for sorting.
  • Identify mismatched or defective stones and report them to the supervisor.
  • Maintain records of daily assortments and diamond issue/receive entries.
  • Coordinate with the diamond inventory and production teams for smooth workflow.
  • Follow company SOPs for diamond handling, safety, and quality standards.
  • Support in stock reconciliation and physical verification as and when required.

Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Strong knowledge of diamond 4Cs (Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat).
  • Good visual judgment and attention to detail.
  • Familiar with diamond sieving and grading equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel or stock entry systems preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Honest, responsible, and disciplined with diamond handling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
