We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Relationship Manager to join our Emerging Corporate Banking division. This pivotal role focuses on New-to-Bank (NTB) client acquisition, building robust relationships, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 8 years of experience in corporate relationship management, with a strong emphasis on new client acquisition and managing emerging corporate clients.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

New Client Acquisition (NTB):

  • Identify, target, and onboard new-to-bank (NTB) emerging corporate clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets and client segments.
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospects through market mapping, lead generation, and industry networking.

Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and customized financial solutions.
  • Nurture relationships with emerging corporates to drive cross-selling opportunities and deepen client engagement.
  • Understand clients' business models, financial needs, and industry dynamics to provide relevant advice and solutions.

Business Development:

  • Achieve sales and revenue targets by offering a comprehensive suite of banking products and services (e.g., working capital, trade finance, cash management).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as product, risk, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and credit norms.
  • Prepare credit proposals and manage risk assessment for new and existing clients.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 1–8 years of experience in relationship management, business development, or corporate banking, preferably in emerging corporate or mid-market segments.
  • Proven track record of NTB (New-to-Bank) client acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services (e.g., working capital finance, trade products, treasury).
  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders in client organizations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and understanding of financial statements and credit analysis.
  • Self-driven with a passion for sales and a customer-centric approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Certification in banking or financial services (e.g., CAIIB) is a plus.
