1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
  • Provide financial analysis and MIS reports to management.

2. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.).
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits.
  • File statutory returns and ensure timely payments of all government dues.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and control expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Assist management in financial planning and decision-making.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage working capital, bank reconciliations, and cash flow requirements.
  • Liaise with banks for fund management, credit facilities, and other financial services.
  • Optimize cash utilization and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

5. Team Management

  • Lead, guide, and supervise the accounts and finance team.
  • Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity within the department.
  • Provide training and development to junior staff.

6. Business Support

  • Support senior management in evaluating business performance.
  • Provide insights on cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Proven experience (2–6 years) in accounting/finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure, deadlines, and confidential information with integrity.
