Role: DCO Professional Support Civil Sub function: Design & Cost Optimisation (DCO)Role Objective: Assisting in preparation of Budget and Budget Estimation for Civil, Finishing and Infra packages, evaluate the Tenders received from Design, Prepare the Rate Master and update the rates time to time based on market conditions, conduct periodical techno-commercial Audits for defined Projects. Value Engineering, Prepare DD level budgets and subsequent CTC. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with various design cells to understand the Design intent on specific Projects.

Estimation for various Civil, Finishing and Infra packages and pricing the same. Preparing the comparative for the estimated cost as per Policies and recently completed / awarded packages. Review of Design development Packages and explore further need for Cost Optimization across various Civil packages and Value Engineering options feasible.

Ensure confirmation of adherence to various policies and norms, while review of tendersEnsure timely and accurate review of tenders (Prepare Tenders / Tender BOQ's) and release it to procurement for further process. Assist in Preparation of DD budgets and subsequent CTC and provide inputs on variation in Concept Design Vs. DD Design and cost implication thereto. Maintain active communication with various departments like Design, Procurement & Construction Management.

Obtain the market rates and prepare Rate Analysis for all the items and update the Rate Master periodically. Prepare the database of the market rates, monitor the trends and update the same time to time. Conduct Techno-commercial Audits for Post Contract works and suggest improvements in the process to avoid irregularities / mistakes.

Skills: Project Cost Budgeting & Cost Monitoring, Estimation, Rate Analysis, Post contract activities for large scale Real Estate developments, high rises & Mega Cities experience is preferred. Qualification: BE Civil Practice and Other Requirements: 5-8 yrs.
