Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Membership Development Specialist, based in India. The successful candidate will work closely with our Membership Manager to develop and deliver a strategic plan for membership growth and support across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing business development strategies to promote ICE membership among professionals in India.
  • Managing membership growth initiatives, including coordination of training and services delivery.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to members and non-members on various aspects of civil engineering and professional development.
  • Building relationships with employers and higher education institutions to enhance awareness of ICE membership and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency of approach and effective delivery of services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of ICE membership.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a degree in civil engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in training and development. A professional qualification in civil engineering would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in business development and account management would be beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations and workshops.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with databases and CRM systems would be an asset.
