International Sales Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented International Sales Manager to lead and expand our business in global markets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and managing international client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and overseeing the complete sales cycle across multiple regions. The ideal candidate should have strong sales acumen, cross-cultural communication skills, and a proven track record in international business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth in international markets.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with distributors, agents, and direct clients.
- Manage and expand relationships with existing international customers and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new territories.
- Negotiate and close high-value sales deals in line with company objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, logistics, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.
- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, payment terms, and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a sales team (if applicable), setting clear goals and performance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of proven experience in international sales or business development.
- Strong knowledge of global trade practices, export documentation, and international payment terms (LC, TT, etc.).
- Experience in managing sales across multiple regions (e.g., Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Americas).
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prior experience in [insert industry – e.g., manufacturing, IT, FMCG, engineering, pharma] is highly desirable.

- Strong cross-cultural awareness and adaptability.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- High level of initiative, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
- Fluency in English (additional foreign languages will be an advantage).
