. We are looking for a proactive and people-

driven professional who can run community drives and manage our warehouse

operations.

Role Overview

The Operations & Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for organizing

clothes collection drives in residential apartments, schools, and corporate offices,

while also managing the backend flow of collected clothes at the warehouse. This role

requires a mix of communication, coordination, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Drives

  • Reach out to RWAs (Resident Welfare Associations), apartment committees, schools, and corporates to schedule collection drives.
  • Present Gudswap's mission, benefits, and drive process clearly to decision-makers.
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of drives (promotion, setup, collection, logistics).
  • Build long-term relationships with communities and ensure repeat drives.

Operations & Warehouse Management

  • Oversee inflow of collected clothes into the warehouse.
  • Supervise sorting, segregation (reusable, upcyclable, donation-ready, recycling).
  • Maintain accurate inventory and update records of collected clothes.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners for pickups/deliveries.

Team & Reporting

  • Train volunteers or part-time staff for drives and warehouse work.
  • Track KPIs such as no. of drives conducted, clothes collected, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in operations, community engagement, or sales.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with RWAs/partners.
  • Ability to manage logistics, inventory, and basic warehouse processes.
  • Comfortable with field visits and hands-on work.
  • Passion for sustainability and social impact.
