This role involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, from handling client inquiries and booking events to ensuring the quality of services like catering, setup, and client satisfaction. supporting the event manager by coordinating logistics, managing vendors, and assisting with budgeting. Key responsibilities include creating event timelines, liaising with marketing, managing client and attendee inquiries, overseeing on-site execution, and conducting post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Event planning and coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including creating event timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
Logistics and operations: Manage end-to-end logistics, such as venue management, program coordination, vendor negotiation, and guest services. Ensure all logistical details are accurately recorded and managed.
Budget management: Help track budgets and ensure events are executed within financial constraints.
Vendor and client communication: Act as a point of contact, coordinate with vendors, and provide client support before, during, and after events.
On-site execution: Assist in the on-site execution of events, helping to manage staff and resolve any issues that arise promptly.
Marketing and communication: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event marketing materials and manage communication with attendees.
Post-event evaluation: Gather attendee feedback, analyze event success, and prepare reports to identify lessons learned for future improvements.
Required skills and qualifications
