Job Title: Head - PMS Sales
Location: Mumbai
Reports To: Promoter
Job Summary:
The Head - PMS Sales will be responsible for driving the sales of Portfolio Management Services (PMS) products through B2B channels, including Wealth Managers, Private Client Groups (PCG), Banks, and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs). The role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship management, and expertise in investment sales to build and expand the distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive the sales of PMS products across various B2B distribution channels, including Wealth Managers, PCG, Banks, and IFAs.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
- Onboard and build a strong IFA channel for effective distribution of PMS products.
- Conduct regular training sessions, presentations, and knowledge-sharing forums to educate RMs/TLs across different distribution channels.
- Organize and address team huddles, client events, and sales meetings to enhance engagement and drive business.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities in the investment space to expand the product reach.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key channel partners to drive sustainable sales growth.
- Provide exceptional, customized service to channel partners, ensuring strong client engagement and satisfaction.
- Work closely with senior leadership and internal teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Serve as a key point of contact for channel partners, addressing queries and ensuring smooth sales operations.
Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:
- Work on both long-term and short-term business strategies to maximize profitability in alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze the latest market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide valuable market insights and feedback to senior management for continuous improvement of sales strategies and investment offerings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies while executing sales initiatives.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 10-plus years of experience in PMS sales, wealth management, or investment product distribution.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of PMS, AIF, and capital markets.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record in driving sales, managing high-net-worth relationships, and achieving business targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with channel partners and clients.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and investment products for strategic decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter with the ability to identify new business opportunities and drive sales independently.
