The following outlines the primary duties associated with this role; however, additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required to support operational needs. 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain automation tools/scripts for Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, and other BIM platforms.
  • Create custom solutions using C#, Python, and Revit API to improve productivity and model accuracy.
  • Integrate automation outputs with other initiatives such as Power Apps, AI/ML, Power BI dashboards, and other reporting platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership,and stakeholder management abilities. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a balance of technical depth and business impact
  •  Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as AI/ML, cloud collaboration, digital twins, and design automation
  • Mentor a team of automation specialists, providing technical leadership and training.

Required Skills:

  • C# programming
  • Revit API development
  • BIM platforms: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360, Bentley MicroStation, etc.
  • Version control systems: GitHub, Azure DevOps
  • Cloud collaboration tools: Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate Pro
  • Dynamo scripting

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7 years of overall AEC/BIM experience, with 5 years of professional coding experience.

Good to Have

  • Experience with AI/ML in design automation or digital twins.
  • Familiarity with tools like Evolve LAB Glyph, Speckle, Rhino/Grasshopper, Forge APIs.
  • Database management: SQL, MongoDB for BIM data
  • Web development using Frameworks: .NET Core, JavaScript, React & Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
