Marketing Strategist

The Marketing Strategist at Talrop will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across both online and offline channels. This role focuses on understanding business goals, collaborating with multiple startup teams within Talrop's ecosystem, and ensuring effective implementation of marketing initiatives. The strategist will contribute to brand growth, customer engagement, and overall marketing performance through thoughtful planning and cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategy Development
- Build holistic marketing strategies covering brand positioning, audience targeting, communication planning, and campaign structuring.
- Conduct research to understand market trends, audience needs, and competitor activities.
- Create tailored marketing plans for various startups within Talrop's ecosystem.
2. Marketing Implementation (Online & Offline)
- Execute marketing initiatives such as campaigns, promotions, events, brand awareness activities, and communication projects.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with organizational goals across all marketing activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to bring marketing plans to life through content, branding, and communication efforts.
- Manage basic digital presence and activities where required, without being primarily focused on digital marketing.
3. Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with startup teams, department heads, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and challenges.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate creative marketing ideas and solutions.
- Provide strategic inputs to help teams align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Act as a central link between marketing, product, operations, content, and leadership teams.
4. Project Management & Execution
- Convert strategies into actionable plans with clear timelines and deliverables.
- Oversee campaign execution, ensuring quality, timelines, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with designers, writers, and other specialists for content and collateral creation.
- Monitor progress and ensure smooth workflow across teams.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
- Track the performance of marketing activities using relevant indicators.
- Provide detailed reports, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain proper documentation of strategies, campaigns, and results.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the Edu-Tech industry is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Experience in marketing strategy, brand building, or campaign coordination.
- Strong understanding of both online and offline marketing.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Creative thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in startup or fast-moving environments.
- Ability to facilitate discussions and lead collaborative planning sessions.
- Strong understanding of customer behavior and brand positioning.
- Good project management and documentation skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
