Your Impact
As a Capabilities & Insights Analyst, you will join the Panorama Financial Institutions and Insights Consulting (PFIC) team to design and build scalable AI-driven solutions for Banking & Insurance Practice.

You will be based in McKinsey's Knowledge Center in Gurgaon as part of our PFIC team, working closely with a global network of approximately 230+ professionals across more than 25 countries.

You will work with project managers and business experts to deliver Gen AI projects for complex Banking & Insurance challenges through primary and secondary research within the PFIC to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions, contributing to the creation of proprietary assets and knowledge development.

You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, software engineers, and data scientists to design and deliver impactful, reliable, and reusable Generative AI solutions at scale. You will also partner with CST teams to translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and collaborate with the Product Owner to align on roadmaps and create actionable user stories.

You will also focus on designing and building scalable applications and infrastructure withing PFIC teams ensuring robustness, modularity, and reproducibility, even under the non-deterministic nature of Generative AI.

The role is crucial in driving innovation and transformation within the Banking & Insurance sector. As the industry faces increasing complexity and competition, leveraging Generative AI can unlock new opportunities for efficiency, customer engagement, and risk management. Your work will directly impact the ability of our internal teams to deliver advanced AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of our clients.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
• 2 - 4 years of experience in a techno-functional role, preferably within the Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, or Technology sectors
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, with experience in developing and scaling Generative AI agents
• Knowledge of deep learning, Gen AI frameworks, and HTML/Front end design
• Ability to integrate Generative AI agents into workflows and refine and develop tools
• Experience with API integration is preferred, including tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Google Maps, and news aggregators
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a professional attitude and service orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
