Job Description

The Executive – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting the overall finance function of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and customer collections.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by coordinating with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
  • Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
  • Monitor budgets and track expenses to ensure cost control.
  • Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
  • Support treasury operations including bank reconciliations and fund management.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of financial data.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Taxation (GST, TDS)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP)
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Educational Qualification

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter

Experience

  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts, preferably in a manufacturing or steel industry environment.
