Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager with strong expertise in solvent-based paints, who understands the chemistry of raw materials, their evaluation parameters, and their appropriate usage in various applications.

Note- Candidates from Sales, Marketing, or Business Development backgrounds with knowledge of printing ink raw materials can also apply for this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop business opportunities in solvent-based paint formulations for various industries.
  • Understand and explain the raw materials used in solvent-based paints
  • Evaluate the suitability, performance, and compatibility of raw materials through product knowledge and trials.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, , and formulation presentations to clients.
  • Handle client queries regarding performance, usage, and troubleshooting of raw materials or finished coatings.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide after-sales technical service.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging raw material technologies.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree/Diploma in Chemistry, Paint Technology, or Chemical Engineering. Or Relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales in the paint/coatings/chemical industry.
  • Strong understanding of solvent-based paint systems and raw materials.
  • Ability to evaluate materials based on physical, chemical, and performance parameters.
  • Knowledge of formulation practices and calculation of dosage levels for various applications.
  • Good communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, technical trials, and product promotion.
