Position: Assistant General Manager (Sales)

Location: Azadpur, Delhi

**Salary**: ₹55,000 - ₹60,000 per month

Experience Required: 5-7 years in Automobile, OEM, or Auto Paint Industry

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager (Sales) to lead and manage a team of sales managers across a designated territory. The role involves driving sales performance, managing customer relationships, ensuring timely execution of orders, and achieving sales targets through direct and indirect channels.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:

- Lead and motivate a team of sales managers to achieve assigned annual sales targets.
- Monitor the sales team’s performance and ensure regular reporting and progress updates.

2. Sales Execution:

- Drive sales by securing and executing orders through distributors/dealers or directly.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure after-sales service excellence.

3. Sales Reporting & Planning:

- Ensure submission of prescribed monthly sales reports by sales managers.
- Maintain accountability to the management for achieving team-wide sales objectives.

4. Outstanding Payment Management:

- Expedite the collection of payments and exercise control over pending outstanding invoices.

5. Travel & Market Coverage:

- Undertake travel across India as needed, following the company’s travel guidelines.

6. Special Assignments:

- Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by the management.

Required Skills and Competencies:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the automobile, OEM, or auto paint industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in sales reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a dynamic, target-driven environment.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or Post-Graduate qualification in Sales & Marketing is an advantage.

**Experience**:

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales roles within the automobile, OEM, or auto paint industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing teams and achieving organizational sales goals.
