Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with paint, coatings, pigment, ink, and chemical manufacturing companies.

  • Promote and sell raw materials such as titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, kaolin, barytes, solvents, resins, and additives to industrial customers.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and channel partners.

  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers for their formulations and applications.

  • Manage customer inquiries, quotations, and negotiations to close deals effectively.

  • Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Prepare market intelligence reports and share feedback with management for product positioning.

  • Technical Coordination

  • Collaborate with technical teams and R&D to address customer-specific requirements and new product trials.

  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers.

  • Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and forecasts in CRM/ERP systems.

  • Ensure timely collection of payments and compliance with company policies.

Key Requirements

  • Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Polymer Science OR MBA in Marketing (with technical background preferred).

  • Experience:

  • 38 years of proven sales experience in paint, pigments, coatings, or chemical raw materials industry.

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of pigments, fillers, binders, resins, and additives used in paints & coatings.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently and build long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience working with paint & coatings manufacturers of paints,pigments raw material suppliers/distributors.
  • Exposure to industrial coatings, decorative paints, printing inks,texture paints,industrial paints, will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of domestic and supply chain for raw materials preferred.Role & responsibilities
