We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Compliance ISO 27001 Lead Implementer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of ISO 27001 standards, risk management, and compliance practices to ensure our IT infrastructure and data assets are protected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ISO 27001 Implementation: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of ISO 27001 ISMS, including gap analysis, risk assessment, and the development of policies and procedures.

  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and other relevant regulatory requirements. Monitor and report on the status of the ISMS.

  • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and manage the risk treatment plan. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate information security risks.

  • Policy Development: Develop, review, and update information security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with ISO 27001 requirements.

  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness and understanding of information security policies and procedures among employees.

  • Audit and Certification: Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure ISO 27001 certification is achieved and maintained. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to continually improve the ISMS and overall information security posture of the organization.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and external auditors, to ensure effective communication and alignment on information security matters.

  • Incident Management: Assist in the development and management of the incident response plan. Participate in the investigation and resolution of information security incidents.

RequirementsQualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • Certification: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification is required. Additional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security, IT compliance, or a related field, with a focus on ISO 27001 implementation and management.

  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards, information security principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.

  • Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in developing and implementing information security policies and procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
