**Position**: Accounting Associate
**Experience**: 5+ years
**Location**: Remote in India
**Job Shift**: US Shift (EST) 7:30pm-4:30am IST

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **bookkeeping** tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in recording financial transactions.
- Manage **bank reconciliations** and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Handle **accounts payables (AP)** and **accounts receivables (AR)** processes, including vendor and customer communications.
- Prepare and process **invoices** and manage **purchase orders** in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Generate financial reports and perform variance analysis as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in accounting or related roles.
- **Technical Proficiency**:

- Advanced knowledge of **QuickBooks** (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
