Role SummaryWe are looking for a Vendor Development & Business Development Executive to manage vendor sourcing and support business development activities. The role involves building vendor networks, coordinating commercial inputs, and assisting in new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Vendor Development
- Identify and onboard new vendors and suppliers as per company requirements.
- Develop and maintain an updated vendor database.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, technical details, and required documents.
- Compare vendor quotations and support cost evaluation.
- Maintain vendor records and documentation.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors.
Business Development Support
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Support preparation of proposals, presentations, and basic commercial inputs.
- Coordinate with vendors for project-specific requirements.
- Support client follow-ups and internal coordination.
- Maintain BD and vendor MIS reports.
Requirements
- Graduation in Engineering / Management / Commerce.
- 26 years of experience in vendor development, procurement, or BD support.
- Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of pricing and commercial terms.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong documentation and relationship management skills.
