Job Summary:

The Head – HR will be responsible for designing, leading, and implementing the organization's human capital strategy in alignment with its rapid growth in the renewable sector. The role demands a strong understanding of HR best practices, workforce management in project-based industries, and comprehensive knowledge of Indian labour laws, compliances, and IR practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a Strategic Partner: Work closely with the leadership team to shape HR policies that support business growth
  • Lead Recruitment: Take full ownership of hiring for technical, project, and corporate roles across geographies.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws, statutory obligations, and regulatory frameworks applicable to manufacturing, project sites, and corporate offices. Manage employee relations particularly at project and plant sites.
  • Transform HR: Modernize our HR practices, bring in digital tools, and make HR more data-driven and impactful.
  • Run Smooth HR Operations: Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits, HRIS, and performance management systems.
  • Build Culture & Engagement: Create a positive workplace where people feel motivated, engaged, and supported.
  • Policy & Process: Develop and roll out progressive HR policies, Standardize HR policies across group companies aligned with industry benchmarks and ESG goals.
  • Lead the Team: Guide and mentor the HR, recruitment, and operations teams, ensuring they are motivated and future-ready.
  • Learning & Development: Build capability development frameworks with a focus on future skills in renewables. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate in HR or equivalent (MBA/PGDM/MSW preferred).
  • 10 to 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in any manufacturing setup, energy, or renewable sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, compliances
  • Proven ability in handling multi-location operations and large workforce including project-based / contractual employees.

Working Conditions/Environment:

  • Work from Pune Office
  • Monday to Saturday
  • This position requires occasional travel to project sites
