Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our HR & Operations team.. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sourcing and recruitment efforts for writers and editors, as well as assisting in other in-office hiring and operational tasks. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in HR operations, recruitment, and general office management & comes with a pre-placement offer.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Recruitment:

  • Collaborate with the HR team to identify staffing needs for the Operations & supply chain.
  • Assist in creating job descriptions and job postings for writers, editors, and other relevant positions.
  • Utilise various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to attract potential candidates.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in conducting reference checks and background verifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our HR system.

Operational Support:

  • Assist with various operational tasks within the department, including data entry, document management, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

General HR Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including file maintenance, scheduling, and document preparation.
  • Assist in HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, sheets, forms, etc.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
