Role Overview: As a Business Development Executive / Education Counselor (Fresher), you will be the link between prospective students and WebAsha's training & certification offerings. You'll help students understand which course fits their goals, guide them through the admission/enrollment process, generate leads, and help to meet enrollment targets. This role requires both counseling skills and business development / sales orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

● Interact with prospective students (calls, emails, in‑person) to understand their career goals, educational background, and interests.

● Explain WebAsha's courses, certifications, learning modes (online, classroom, corporate), features (hands‑on labs, placement assistance, etc.) to prospects.

● Generate leads via various channels (walk‑ins, student inquiries, fairs, digital marketing, referrals) and follow them up to convert to enrollments.

● Maintain and update records of student interactions, follow‑ups, enrollment status using CRM or similar tools.

● Collaborate with marketing and operations teams for promotional campaigns, seminars, webinars, workshops.

● Ensure the admission/enrollment process is smooth—assist with documentation, scheduling classes, explaining payment options etc.

● Keep up‑to‑date with WebAsha's course offerings, certifications, partner institutes, trending technologies in IT to advise students appropriately.

● Support post‑enrolment student satisfaction—triaging any queries, orientation help etc., for better retention.

Qualifications & Skills:

● Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Preferably in Business, Education, Marketing, or IT.

● Freshers are welcome; internship or any exposure to counseling / sales is a plus.

● Strong communication skills (verbal & written) in English; local language skills (Marathi / Hindi) will be beneficial.

● Good interpersonal skills; ability to empathize with student concerns.

● Basic computer skills: MS Office, internet, possibly using a CRM system.

● Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, with target / performance mindset.

● Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple leads / tasks.
