Retail Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations of the retail print store(s)
- Drive in-store sales of printing services such as digital, offset, large-format, and promotional printing
- Develop and implement retail sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets
- Manage and mentor a team of retail sales associates and print service staff
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and print solution consulting
- Educate customers on product offerings, turnaround times, and pricing
- Oversee quoting, invoicing, and print job tracking using POS and print MIS systems
- Coordinate with production and design departments to ensure timely and accurate job delivery
- Manage inventory of print supplies, paper stock, and promotional items
- Monitor store KPIs (sales, margin, foot traffic, repeat business) and report performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company branding standards
- Handle escalated customer issues or job discrepancies with professionalism and urgency
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of print production processes (digital, offset, large-format, finishing)
- Proven leadership skills in a retail or print environment
- Strong customer service and consultative selling abilities
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) and print MIS systems (e.g., EFI, PrintSmith, PressWise)
- Knowledge of quoting and estimating print jobs
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Sales-driven with a keen eye for identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities Role & responsibilities
