About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 
Thermal Engineer
 with a specialization in 
Heat Exchanger Design
 for product development applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating heat exchangers across a variety of thermal systems, ensuring optimal performance, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

∙Lead end-to-end design and development of heat exchangers (air-to-air, air-to-liquid, liquid-to-liquid, etc.) for various thermal systems.

∙Perform thermal and fluid dynamic analysis using tools such as ANSYS Fluent, STARCCM+, or equivalent CFD software.

∙Size and select appropriate heat exchanger types (plate-fin, shell-and-tube, brazed

plate, etc.) based on application requirements.

∙Conduct detailed thermal modeling and heat transfer calculations to optimize exchanger performance.

∙Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and materials teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.

∙Support prototype development, lab testing, and validation of heat exchangers under different load conditions.

∙Troubleshoot thermal system issues in development and production stages and propose design improvements.

∙Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, test plans, and analysis reports.

∙Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in heat exchanger technologies.

Required Qualifications:

∙Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.

∙5–10 years of hands-on experience in heat exchanger design and development.

∙Strong understanding of heat transfer principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

∙Proficiency in thermal simulation and CAD tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks, CATIA).

∙Experience in prototype development, lab testing, and data analysis for thermal systems.

∙Familiarity with international standards and codes related to heat exchangers (e.g., ASME, TEMA).

Preferred Qualifications:

∙Experience with heat exchanger design in automotive, aerospace, HVAC, or industrial applications.

∙Knowledge of materials, coatings, and corrosion considerations for heat exchanger applications.

∙Exposure to manufacturing processes like brazing, welding, and CNC machining.
