Job Summary:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a key player in our business development structure, responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities across industries on a global scale. This role involves a mix of outbound prospecting, and strategic engagement with potential customers to drive interest in our services and solutions.

You will work closely with Account Executives, Sales Managers, Marketing and Service Delivery Managers (SMEs) to create a seamless handoff of qualified leads, contributing directly to revenue growth and customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  2. Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, cold emails, social selling, and networking to generate new leads.

  3. Identify potential customers using research tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.) and industry databases.
  4. Create and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads to support the sales team's revenue targets.

  5. Lead Qualification & Nurturing

  6. Use consultative questioning techniques to understand prospects' business needs, challenges, and objectives.

  7. Qualify leads based on criteria such as budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT) or other sales frameworks.

  8. Sales Engagement & Outreach

  9. Initiate personalized outreach campaigns tailored to the prospect's industry, role, and pain points.

  10. Leverage data-driven insights to refine messaging and improve engagement rates.
  11. Schedule product demos, discovery calls, and meetings between qualified prospects and the Business Development team.

  12. CRM & Data Management

  13. Accurately track and manage all sales activities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  14. Ensure up-to-date and detailed records of customer interactions, notes, and follow-ups.
  15. Analyse data to identify trends, measure performance, and suggest process improvements.

  16. Collaboration & Teamwork

  17. Work closely with Sales Leaders, Service Delivery Managers and Marketing to understand the sales process, buyer personas, and customer pain points.

  18. Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and campaign performance.
  19. Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


• Number of outbound calls made, and emails sent per day/week/month.


• Volume of qualified leads generated monthly.


• Conversion rate from leads to opportunities.


• Appointment-setting and demo-to-deal conversion rates.


• CRM data accuracy and pipeline management efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).


• 1–2 years of sales, customer service, or related experience is a plus.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Strong organizational and time management abilities.


• Ability to handle rejection with resilience and a positive attitude.


• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite will be an added benefit.


• Experience with sales automation tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft) is a plus.
