The Business Development Executive(Field) will oversee and drive sales efforts in the field for our paint products, raw material for surface coating focusing on technical support and relationship management. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales skills to address customer needs, promote product benefits, and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Sales Management: Identify and develop new customers in the paint, coating, and chemical industries. Generate leads, conduct customer visits, and convert prospects into sales. Promote and sell raw materials such as resins, colourants, pigments and additives etc.

    Manage client interactions in the field to drive sales growth and market penetration.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical guidance and support to customers on product selection, application methods, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal results and satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including contractors, distributors, and homeowners, to foster loyalty and drive repeat business.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site product demonstrations and training sessions to showcase product features and benefits and enhance customer knowledge and skills.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions to senior management, providing insights for strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate/Post Graduate (Paint Technology/Chemistry, Diploma in Paint Technology, MBA in Marketing or a related field is preferred).
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in technical sales within the paint manufacturing or coatings industry or selling raw materials for coating industry with a proven track record in field sales.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of paint products, application techniques, and industry standards.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and persuasively.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory of south India
