  • Reports To: Head – Admissions

  • We are looking for a Senior Admission Counsellor who will act as the team lead in our admissions department. The candidate will be responsible for handling student admission enquiries, guiding applicants through the admission process, and ensure targets are met. The role demands excellent communication, leadership, and student counseling skills.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for student/parent admission enquiries.

  • Guide students in choosing suitable courses/programs based on their academic background and career aspirations.

  • Ensure timely follow-ups with leads through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain updated records of enquiries, leads, and admissions in CRM/software.
  • Conduct admission counseling sessions, webinars, and seminars for prospective students.
  • Coordinate with operations and marketing teams for smooth execution of admission campaigns.
  • Train junior counsellors to improve their counselling and conversion skills.
  • Regularly prepare and share admission progress reports with management.

Requirements

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, Education, or related field.
  • Proven ability to convert enquiries into admissions.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and admission processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve monthly/quarterly admission targets.
