Job Purpose:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share of solar products—such as inverters, PV modules, and Balance of System (BOS) components—within the assigned region. The role involves developing strong channel networks, managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective pre- and post-sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve regional sales targets for solar inverters, PV modules, and associated products.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and engage potential EPCs, distributors, solar developers, government bodies, and large institutional buyers.

2. Channel & Partner Management

  • Build, maintain, and manage relationships with distributors, channel partners, and dealers.
  • Provide product training, sales tools, and technical support to channel partners.
  • Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with company sales objectives.

3. Key Account Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with technical and project teams to ensure timely delivery and commissioning.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for product positioning and development.

5. Operational & Administrative Tasks

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and customer records in the CRM.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and exhibitions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in solar product sales, with proven track record in selling inverters, PV modules, or similar products.
  • Strong knowledge of solar industry standards, MNRE guidelines, and market trends.
  • Established network of EPCs, distributors, and developers in the renewable energy sector.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a regional team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
  • Results-driven with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Number of new accounts and channel partners onboarded.
  • Market share growth in assigned region.
  • Timely payment collection and low outstanding dues.
  • Customer satisfaction ratings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹45,000.00 per month
