Job Description:

As a Sales and Collection Executive at RS ROASTED GRAM MILLS KUMBAKONAM , you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring timely collection of payments from customers for our roasted gram products across 60 KM RADIUS FROM KUMBAKONAM Your role will be pivotal in expanding our market presence, maintaining strong customer relationships, and optimizing the collections process to support the company's financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

2. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets for roasted gram products in Tamil Nadu.

3. Identify potential markets and customer segments, and create action plans to tap into these opportunities.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

5. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

6. Address customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

7. Sales Execution:

8. Conduct sales visits and presentations to potential customers.

9. Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.

10. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment.

11. Order Management:

12. Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of products.

13. Coordinate with production and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and fulfill orders efficiently.

14. Market Research and Analysis:

15. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitive landscape.

16. Gather and analyze data on market trends and customer feedback, providing insights to the management team for product development and improvement.

17. Collection Management:

18. Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment collection.

19. Implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and reduce bad debts.

20. Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.

21. Credit Control:

22. Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits in coordination with the finance department.

23. Review and negotiate credit terms and conditions with customers.

24. Sales Reporting:

25. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback, to the management team.

26. Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies and collection processes.

27. Cross-functional Collaboration:

28. Collaborate with marketing, production, and finance teams to align sales and collection activities with overall business objectives.

29. Coordinate promotional activities and campaigns to support sales growth and customer acquisition.

30. Compliance and Documentation:

31. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements related to sales and collection activities.

32. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and payment collections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in sales and collection roles, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Results-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets and collection goals.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.

• Knowledge of local market dynamics and consumer behavior in Tamil Nadu.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
