Business Development Manager

Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager is Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing & expanding client relationships and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities / Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and implement growth strategies and business plans.
- Manage and retain relationships with existing clients while increasing the client base.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of business products, services, and value propositions.
- Prepare and present business proposals to prospective and existing customers.
- Negotiate with stakeholders to secure beneficial outcomes.
- Identify and map business strengths and customer needs to generate new opportunities.
- Report regularly on achievements and areas requiring improvement.
- Prepare and deliver monthly business reviews and presentations to senior management.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure the team meets these objectives.
- Submit accurate weekly progress reports.
Key Interactions
Internal:
- Coordinate with FP, RSM, SDE, and SDM regarding products.
- Liaise with Accounts/Audit for receivables and payments.
- Work with the Admin team regarding new outlet openings, branding and reporting.
External:
- Interact with existing franchisees, distributors, and secondary sales channels for orders.
- Engage with local markets for opening new outlets.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Educational Qualifications:
- Any degree .
Experience:
- 4 to 7 years of sales or field experience.
Knowledge Areas:
- Networking and public speaking
- Sales planning
- Market knowledge
Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong business development strategy design and implementation experience
Additional Requirements:
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license
- Physically fit and willing to travel extensively
