**Job Title:** Restaurant Manager
**Department:** Food & Beverage
**Location:** Peninsula Redpine Hotel, Mumbai
**Reports To:** F&B Manager / General Manager
**Job Summary:**The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, managing staff performance, and maximizing profitability through effective cost control and operational efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Supervise and manage daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.
* Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
* Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
* Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for timely and quality service.
* Plan and implement sales strategies and promotional activities to increase revenue.
* Monitor inventory, control costs, and minimize wastage.
* Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and ensure proper staffing levels.
* Train, motivate, and evaluate team members to maintain consistent service standards.
* Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
* Generate daily sales and performance reports for management review.
**Qualifications & Experience:**
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
* Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
* Sound knowledge of F&B operations, POS systems, and cost control.
* Ability to handle pressure and resolve operational challenges effectively.
