We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Rate Analyst / Pricing Executive to handle day-to-day rate making and rate reconciliation activities. The candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and verifying customer and vendor rates across systems to ensure accurate billing and costing. This role is crucial in supporting the pricing team and ensuring margin accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Rate Making (Day-to-Day Pricing Tasks)

Create and update customer and vendor rates for various services (transport, freight, warehousing, etc.)

Interpret pricing requests and convert them into accurate rate formats.

Prepare and send customer quotations and proposals based on standard rate cards or negotiated pricing.

Ensure all pricing is in line with company policies, margin targets, and service agreements.

Coordinate with operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure pricing accuracy.

Rate Reconciliation

Reconcile billed rates against contracted or agreed rates to identify discrepancies.

Verify invoices from vendors and clients to ensure correct rate application.

Investigate and resolve mismatches or rate disputes with internal teams or external partners.

Maintain proper documentation for rate approvals and changes.

Update ERP or pricing systems with corrected or revised rates.
