Assistant Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong foundation in accounting principles. The candidate will support the financial operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and assist in compliance and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor queries.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity in financial records and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related queries.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
  • Minimum 3 years of Articleship from a reputed CA firm.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or ERP systems.
  • Excellent Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Background:

  • Candidates from an accounting or finance-focused academic background.
  • Experience in handling audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Exposure to corporate or mid-sized business finance functions.
