Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain enterprise-wide financial systems (ERP), ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.

Liaise with internal and external auditors to support statutory and internal audits, addressing any audit queries and resolving accounting discrepancies.

Conduct aged debt analysis and review, recommending corrective actions where necessary.

Oversee and streamline accounting processes to improve automation and reduce transaction processing time.

Review and scrutinize general ledgers; finalize books of accounts for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

Prepare and analyze Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and variance analysis for internal stakeholders.

Coordinate and support year-end audits and limited reviews, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Verify, record, and maintain Fixed Assets, ensuring accuracy in the Fixed Asset Register and alignment with accounting principles.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical proficiency in financial and management accounting, including ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Oversee and streamline accounting and cost management processes to enhance automation, improve controls, and reduce transaction turnaround time.

Monitor, analyze, and control costs across business functions; provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Deep understanding of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.

Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and senior management.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a team environment.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Educational & Professional Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional qualifications such as CA Inter, CMA, CWA (preferred but not mandatory).

Demonstrated experience in a similar finance role, preferably within an ERP-enabled environment.

Prior experience in diamond jewellery manufacturing and cost management will be considered an added advantage.

5-7 years of relevant experience.
