JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities:

  • You will work with data to understand patterns and analyse risk to business activities and operations.
  • You will work closely with Engineering and Product to develop fraud risk solutions.
  • Provide support to cross-functional teams in their risk analytics requests.
  • You are responsible for defining, developing, and communicating key metrics that need to be monitored to prevent risk.
  • Building a strategic approach for the process optimisations/improvements.
  • Maintain effective performance by being adaptable and positive in approach to circumstances.
  • Build outcome-driven KRAs for the Team and strive to lead the team with continuous improvements.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & Requirements:

  • Over 2-4 years of experience in managing credit risk, fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML) processes, data analytics, and pattern recognition.
  • Exposure to fraud detection, piracy mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and BI Tools.
  • Familiarity with ML models and Generative AI is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of risk awareness, audit discipline, and controls.
  • Prior exposure to user behaviour monitoring and risk management.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with ed-tech platforms or subscription-based services.
  • Exposure to risk management and mitigation.
  • Able to speak multi-lingually fluently.
