Job Title: Risk Analyst Manager - Gold Loan

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk Analyst Manager for our Gold Loan division in Bangalore. As the Risk Analyst Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the sound management of risk associated with gold loan portfolios. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring risk management strategies, while also working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain the health of the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust risk assessment framework for gold loan portfolios.
  • Implement advanced analytics to track and analyze key risk metrics, ensuring early detection of any portfolio distress.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to devise strategies for mitigating risks and sustaining a healthy gold loan portfolio.
  • Lead the development of risk monitoring systems and methodologies.
  • Continually assess and improve risk management processes and strategies.
  • Drive efforts to maximize portfolio revenue while minimizing risk.
  • Establish and update criteria for customer actions, including upsell, renewals, and closures.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the risk analysis team.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in risk management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial sector.
  • Proficiency in the nuances of gold loan risk analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team of risk analysts.
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate across different functions effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven track record of handling and mitigating risk within gold loan portfolios.
