Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, integration, and deployment of Python-based applications that incorporate Generative AI (GenAI) functionalities.
  • Design and implement core GenAI features, including Large Language Model (LLM) fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and utilizing frameworks like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
  • Serve as a technical leader, driving high-quality, efficient, and scalable Python code. Conduct comprehensive code reviews and enforce best practices.
  • Integrate GenAI components smoothly into the existing product architecture, ensuring reliable data pipelines and API communication.
  • Optimize the performance and latency of deployed GenAI models and associated Python services for production readiness and scale.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team on complex coding challenges and GenAI deployment strategies.
  • Contribute to technical discussions regarding product architecture, focusing on how new features impact system scalability and maintainability.
Required Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on Python and recent experience in Generative AI.
  • Expert proficiency in Python, including experience with modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django) and data science libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas).
  • Proven, hands-on experience developing and deploying LLMs, working with tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Demonstrated experience working on a Python / GenAI product from concept to production, understanding the trade-offs in product design.
  • Solid understanding of product architecture principles relevant to building and scaling web services, APIs, and GenAI microservices.
  • Deployment Skills: Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex system and GenAI-related issues.
  • Experience in developing Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Figma and React-based UI development is an added advantage.
