Functional Area: DevOps Engineering

We are seeking a DevOps Lead specializing in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for products. The ideal candidate is a versatile self-starter with a background in cloud infrastructure to meet business needs and ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.

Role and responsibilities:

• Define and implement cloud architecture best practices with a focus on high availability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization.
• Select appropriate cloud services (AWS and Azure) and manage cloud accounts to support infrastructure needs and control costs.
• Manage and maintain development, staging, and production environments to ensure stability and availability.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes to enable faster and more reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates for consistency and reusability.
• Act as a bridge between development and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve speed and efficiency across teams.
• Perform system administration tasks, monitor system/network performance, and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance system performance and team productivity.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions within allocated resources and timeframes.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience:

• Must have 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps Automation using CI/CD, Jenkins
• Must have hands-on experience in Docker and Kubernetes implementation in active projects
• Must have AWS Cloud Architect Certification.
• Must have hands-on experience in key features of Cloud Service Providers.
• Must have expertise in networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, VPN and firewalls)
• Must have the ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
• Experience in doing full migration of on-premises workload to cloud service providers is a big plus
• Experience working with USA or European clients is a plus.
• Experience working with multi-vendor, multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environments will be helpful in day to day working.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should be able to present his suggestions and explain technical approaches.
